Lead Structural Analysis Engineer role at Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) for the F-15 Technical Assistance Team (TAT), involving a temporary assignment to Israel. What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and implement structural repairs and NCRs.
  2. Collaborate with IPTs to support the integration of technical solutions and ensure manufacturability of repairs with the suppliers.
  3. Investigate and resolve technical problems related to many manufacturing processes.
  4. Participate in the implementation of Lean principles to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  5. Resolve technical issues that significantly impact performance, cost, or schedule.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • 3+ years of mechanical, composite, and/or structure experience in the aviation industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and procedures.
  • Experience working with international suppliers.
  • Experience with Legacy Designed methods like 2D blueprints, master set tooling, etc.
  • Ability to obtain a work Visa for Israel.
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country: Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned.
