Lead Structural Dadt Analysis Engineer

Boeing Boeing · Aerospace · Oklahoma City, OK

Lead Structural DaDT Analysis Engineer at Boeing, focusing on structural integrity, damage tolerance, and fracture mechanics for aircraft programs. Requires expertise in finite element modeling and analysis, with a strong emphasis on meeting USAF ASIP requirements. The role involves leading analysis efforts, developing analytical processes, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensures compliance with methodology and processes for stress analysis, DaDT analysis, and finite element modelling in the accomplishment of work
  2. Performs Failsafe Analyses, durability life calculations, and determines Damage Tolerance for fracture critical parts
  3. Verifies structural integrity by defining requirements for development of analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools to develop the airframe structural environment, characteristics, and performance of the product
  4. Ensures USAF Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) requirements are met for airframe analysis and validation
  5. Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
