Lead Systems Engineer, Battlespace

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Broomfield, CO · Mission Systems : Battlespace Awareness Engineering

Lead Systems Engineer for a defense technology company focusing on AI-powered command and control systems. The role involves supporting the design, development, and validation of algorithmic capabilities like tracking, sensor management, and threat forecasting, bridging system design, requirements management, M&S, and V&V. The engineer will integrate capabilities into products, lead requirements decomposition, develop test plans, and own systems end-to-end, using data-driven analysis and modeling/simulation environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will develop and execute high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments to validate algorithm performance, evaluate system capabilities against requirements, and predict real-world performance before field deployment
  2. Lead requirements decomposition across cross-functional teams, defining success in the face of ambiguity.
  3. Responsible for scoping ideal system laydown, scrutinizing system performance, and ensuring the deployed system is meeting customer requirements.
  4. Own systems end to end with the ability to identify and solve problems between the seams and push through to reach an ultimate outcome.
