What you'd actually do

  1. This role will serve as Lead Systems Engineer for the program requiring the candidate to function in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
  2. Regular interface with program management, engineering staff, and external customers
  3. Provide leadership to the systems engineering effort for the program including direct and in-direct management of engineers with limited oversight from engineering senior leadership personnel in a collaborative environment
  4. Implement and manage system requirements in the Requirements Management databases (DOORS) and task management using Jira
  5. Supports system design, data analyses, interface verification, testing, and failure/anomaly resolution

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
  • 5 years of related engineering experience (Level 3) or 8 years (Level 4)
  • Active US DoD Secret Security clearance
  • Strong technical problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated mentoring/training skills
