Lead Technical Program Manager for the People & Capability Engineering team, driving complex, cross-functional initiatives focused on platform modernization, service integration, and enhanced employee experience within Mastercard's people technology ecosystem. This role requires strong project and program management skills, experience with HR technology systems (Workday preferred), and familiarity with Agile methodologies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide leadership and accountability for large-scale, multi-workstream projects ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.
  2. Drive end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams—facilitating collaboration, managing dependencies, and proactively mitigating risks and roadblocks.
  3. Partner with product management, developers, and stakeholders to identify data and functional requirements for new or enhanced systems.
  4. Define and deliver high-quality business and functional requirements to guide design, development, testing, and implementation.
  5. Manage project lifecycle activities including design, testing, deployment, and change management.

Required

  • Proven experience leading complex HR Technology programs
  • Strong project and program management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic and detail-oriented thinker
  • Experienced in managing agile projects
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools such as Confluence, Rally or JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with technical concepts such as APIs, integrations, SSO, and software development lifecycles.
