Lead User Experience Designer

Salesforce is seeking a Lead User Experience Designer to shape their AI-powered CRM products. The role involves influencing UX vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, solving complex design problems, and advocating for end-users. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in user-centered design, a strong understanding of design tools, and the ability to deliver polished products in an agile environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Influence and compellingly communicate the UX vision to a wide variety of key stakeholders
  2. Build strong partnerships across disciplines, such as Design, Product, Engineering, and Marketing
  3. Solve complex UX design problems across web, mobile and tablet
  4. Collaborate closely with product owners/managers (POs & PMs) to find opportunities for new products/features and validate assumptions through user testing and research
  5. Work with engineering to deliver final product

Skills

Required

  • 10-16 years of experience designing and delivering products in cross-functional teams from start to finish
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment, while also leading process improvement efforts
  • Power to influence others and build consensus, while dealing with ambiguity
  • Self-motivated, a good communicator, and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines
  • Experience using analytics, user research and other approaches to help make decisions and iterate on the product
  • Constant drive to stay up-to-date with the latest industry news and developments.
  • A deep appreciation and talent for simple solutions to complex problems
  • Expert knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, PhotoShop, Illustrator

Nice to have

  • Experience working in design systems
  • Experience with CRM or enterprise software
