What you'll do... • Use and have a thorough understanding of Six Sigma, Lean and Problem-Solving Methodologies and Ford Production System (FPS) approach to improve all areas of the business • Implement and lead Ford NA Six Sigma strategy within manufacturing plant • Coach Plant OCM and Green belts in strategic problem solving and Six Sigma methodologies • Coach, lead and assist problem solving teams at Ford facilities and suppliers • Teach Six Sigma Green Belt classes and help prepare students for certification • Coach and teach Ford Production System methods including standards and project selection • Coach and mentor Green Belts to use 6 Sigma tools properly and complete projects • Run 6 Sigma Kaizen projects to support resolution of significant issues • Lead 6 Sigma continuous improvement projects to resolve significant issues • Liaison with other business units on best practices and 6 Sigma knowledge • Support implementation of Ford Production System standards and continuous improvement tools • Drive implementation of continuous improvement methodology and sustainability strategies with plant leadership • Provide Ford Production System assistance and training to the plant as required • Coach and teach Ford Production System methods including standards and project selection. • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook) • Interface with plant hourly, salaried personnel and plant management team members • Demonstrate an ability to resolve diverse problems • Work well under pressure and to be able to work under crisis management when necessary • Work and multi-task in fast pace environment • Teach Quality Operating System methods and principles
Additional Duties... • Confirm standards are in place • Support issues raised by the teams • Plan changes to the system • Manage changes to the system • Communication and Recognition • Develop highly competent and motivated people • Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks • Ensure completion of administrative responsibilities • Supervise salaried employees
You'll have... • Education: High School Diploma • Six Sigma Certified • Experience: 2-3 years’ experience as a Process Coach

• Black Belt Certified
• Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends • Ability to work independently with limited supervision • Capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput • Strong organizational and administrative skills • Ability to multi-task • Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills • Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-$162,120.
