Learning & Development Lead

This role is responsible for developing and executing learning and development strategies to improve commercial execution in Sales and Marketing within the pharmaceutical industry. It involves diagnosing capability gaps, designing and delivering blended learning solutions, leading sales and marketing programs, evaluating effectiveness, and managing vendors and budgets. The focus is on driving observable behavior change and business impact through capability building.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute a Learning & Development strategy aligned to commercial and organizational priorities.
  2. Diagnose capability gaps using performance data, learning analytics, and stakeholder input.
  3. Design and deliver blended learning solutions (classroom, virtual, digital, on-the-job) addressing sales capability, marketing excellence, and leadership development.
  4. Lead sales capability programs focusing on call quality, objection handling, closing, and customer-focused interactions.
  5. Evaluate learning effectiveness and ROI using clear KPIs; continuously improve programs based on data and feedback.
