This role focuses on designing and developing learner-centered experiences using multimedia formats, partnering with stakeholders to translate complex content into engaging learning solutions. What you'd actually do

  1. Design and develop learner-centered experiences across multiple multimedia formats including video, eLearning, simulation, and interactive content
  2. Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify learning objectives, scope requirements, and align on deliverables
  3. Create visually compelling assets that maintain brand consistency and meet a high standard for design quality
  4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, independently driving timelines from kickoff through delivery
  5. Prototype and iterate on learning solutions through rapid design cycles, incorporating feedback and testing to refine outcomes

Skills

Required

  • Experience designing and developing learning content, with a portfolio demonstrating range and quality
  • Foundational knowledge of adult learning theory and frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, cognitive load theory)
  • Ability to apply learning science principles in practical training solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; able to build trust, influence, and align cross-functional partners
  • Talent for multimedia storytelling, turning complex information into engaging, digestible narratives
  • Proficiency with multimedia tools (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe After Effects, simulation authoring platforms, Microsoft Suite)
  • Strong visual design skills, with attention to layout, typography, color, and brand consistency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience publishing and managing content within a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Commitment to accessibility and inclusive design, with awareness of WCAG and ADA standards
  • Ability to independently manage timelines, priorities, and projects, quickly learning new tools and technologies

Nice to have

  • Experience in curriculum development, including needs analysis, learning architecture, and program-level design
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) and design thinking principles as applied to learning solutions. Familiarity with HTML or web development for custom digital learning content
  • Ability to measure and analyze learning effectiveness, demonstrating ROI to stakeholders
  • Experience with prototyping and iterative design, refining solutions based on testing and feedback
  • Experience publishing and managing content within a Learning Management System (LMS)
