Lease Commissioning Manager

Microsoft is seeking a Lease Commissioning Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of new data center capacity. This role involves managing commissioning projects in the Abilene, TX region, ensuring compliance with Microsoft's standards, and coordinating with various internal and external teams including architects, engineers, construction managers, and operations. The manager will be responsible for scope, schedule, and budget, driving best practices, and reporting on project progress.

What you'd actually do

  1. Primary responsibility for Abilene, TX region commissioning projects with secondary responsibility for other CO+I commissioning projects for Americas.
  2. Manage the contracted Commissioning Agent assigned to Data Center construction projects in the Abilene, TX region.
  3. Drive the project Commissioning process including scope and schedule.
  4. Regularly reviews Construction Progress, QA/QC, Commissioning progress, issues, and KPI metrics to report to management.
  5. Responsible for developing, managing, and reporting on scope, schedule of the Commissioning Process for CO+I Projects.

Skills

Required

  • Doctorate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience
  • 12+ years relevant technical engineering experience.
