What you'd actually do

  1. Reception area/phone responsibilities
  2. Provide administrative support and assistance to Law Department colleagues
  3. Electronic and hard copy mail processing - incoming and outgoing
  4. E-Filing
  5. Invoice processing

Skills

Required

  • Strong organizational skills, prioritizing, decision making, multitasking, time management, and initiative
  • Strong written and oral communication skills (attention to detail, accuracy of typing/data entry)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of a Case Management system
  • Working knowledge of a Document Storage system

Nice to have

  • Office environment experience
  • Strong customer service background
  • Knowledge of legal and medical terminology, local and state rules regarding pleadings and pre-trial matters, deadlines, and filing requirements
  • Experience with medical records collection through subpoenas and/or authorizations
  • Bilingual skills
