Legal Counsel for Databricks' commercial business in Latin America, focusing on negotiating and drafting cloud services agreements, DPAs, NDAs, SOWs, and AI Terms. Requires 4+ years of commercial legal transactional experience in LatAM, with knowledge of data privacy, information security, AI, and IP.

What you'd actually do

  1. Negotiate, draft, and close MCSAs with LatAM prospects and customers, ensuring compliance with data privacy, information security, and regulatory requirements.
  2. Partner with cross-functional teams locally and at HQ (sales, finance, product, compliance) to drive revenue-generating transactions while mitigating risks.
  3. Help maintain and update our legal agreements, ensuring that terms and internal policies are positioned to continue enabling rapid revenue growth and maintaining long-term stability for the company.
  4. Serve as a solutions-oriented legal business partner by providing pragmatic, sound legal counsel to internal Databricks clients and our growing customer base based on your understanding of local, regional requirements, Databricks' technology, product portfolio, information security architecture, and data privacy/compliance policies.
  5. Support company OKRs, strategic initiatives, and special projects across the legal team.
