Legal Entity Market Risk Reporting Analyst

This role focuses on market risk reporting within a financial institution. Responsibilities include understanding risk measures, producing reports, monitoring trading limits, supporting stress testing, and enabling automation through tools like Excel, Alteryx, and Python. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a preference for financial industry experience and proficiency in relevant tools. Familiarity with AI/ML is a plus but not core to the role.

What you'd actually do

  1. Understand key risk measures such as Greeks, PVBP, VaR, Stress Testing, & Drawdown, and explain material risk moves
  2. Produce and distribute daily/weekly/monthly risk reports to the trading desks, risk managers, and senior management. Monitor the business trading limits, maintain limit framework, and escalate limit breaches to risk managers
  3. Support production of weekly stress results for various lines of business and make stress adjustments in the system if necessary
  4. Provide timely, accurate, and meaningful risk information to risk managers by maintaining high data quality in the reporting system and utilizing system tools to control the accuracy of report results
  5. Enable automation: Develop and maintain user tools and intelligent solutions built on Excel, Alteryx, Python, among others, contribute to automation and operational enhancement initiatives, collaborate with global teams on projects and UAT
