This role is for a Legal Operations Specialist at an AI infrastructure company. The primary focus is on establishing the administrative and technological foundation for the legal department, optimizing technology stack usage, and ensuring seamless transactional support and centralized legal knowledge management. Responsibilities include coordinating complex transactions, managing document version control, supporting IP portfolio administration, administering vendor and system processes, and maintaining legal operations workflows and technology. The role requires strong organizational skills, tech proficiency, and attention to detail.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coordinate logistics for complex transactions including managing electronic signature platforms (DocuSign), organizing signature packets across multiple parties, and ensuring all executed agreements are properly archived with complete metadata.
  2. Maintain document version control and perform meticulous redaction of sensitive data — including PII and trade secrets — from disclosure schedules and transaction documents.
  3. Support IP portfolio administration including internal docketing, deadline tracking, and correspondence management for trademark searches and filings.
  4. Serve as a operational point of contact for outside counsel on vendor onboarding into Crusoe's enterprise systems.
  5. Manage the process for submitting invoices to Accounts Payable and ensuring proper documentation for vendor payments.

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in legal operations, transactional support, legal billing, or a related field at a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Contract management and document tools (Ironclad, DocuSign, Google Workspace, MS Word)
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, track deadlines, and keep complex processes moving
  • Handle highly sensitive, proprietary, and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Clear and professional communicator
