Salesforce Professional Services is seeking a Senior Technical Architect for Agentforce for Life Sciences (AFLS). This role involves acting as a strategic advisor to large enterprise customers, architecting and delivering agentic, AI-first solutions for commercial and clinical operations in the life sciences industry. The architect will guide customers on deploying emerging technologies, manage risks, and ensure solutions are maintainable and extendable.

  1. Serve as a trusted advisor to the client
  2. Identify and lead internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice; serving as an active contributor to the community's overall knowledge base and expertise
  3. Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies that drive increased business value
  4. Work collaboratively and having very strong communications skills, especially in teaching complex concepts, and creative, prescriptive thinking
  5. Identify and proactively manage risk areas and commit to seeing an issue through to complete resolution

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years enterprise architecture or consulting experience
  • 4+ years of experience leading Salesforce Core Projects
  • Strong application design skills combined with strong data, integration, and security architecture skills
  • Experience in the Life Sciences industry, particularly Pharma/Biopharma. Candidates should have backgrounds in pharmaceutical commercial operations, field force engagement, HCP/HCO relationship management, or regulatory compliance
  • Strong presentation skills, able to effectively present and defend a point of view to a variety of audiences
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience
  • A great listener with the ability to communicate with people in diverse roles
  • Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration
  • Resourceful and innovative thinker who can work through and solve problems
  • Strong experience in Integration concepts, designs, and patterns

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications, or Salesforce Certified Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant (launched March 2026)
  • Hands-on experience with Agentforce for Life Sciences (AFLS) or equivalent Life Sciences CRM platforms, including knowledge of HCP/HCO structures, Affiliations, Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Affairs, and compliant engagement workflows
  • Experience supporting or delivering implementations for major pharmaceutical companies, with familiarity with the agentic enterprise model and how AI agents can transform life sciences commercial and clinical operations
