Sales Representative role focused on selling Oracle's Health Sciences software and cloud services, including their AI data platform and Agentic Life Sciences Suite, to pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Primary job duty is to sell health sciences software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers.
  2. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
  3. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the applications and addressing customer needs.
  4. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition.
  5. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale.

Skills

Required

  • 5 - 10 years selling Software Applications, preferably in clinical trial-related product companies.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota
  • Life science industry experience and knowledge
  • Excellent prospecting and qualification skills
  • Strong software sales background
  • Ability to think strategically about the market
  • Ability to penetrate accounts at multiple levels
  • Build and nurture lasting relationships with key stakeholders
  • team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills
  • Excellent customer communication (external & internal), negotiating and closing skills
  • Ability to sell directly to end customers.
  • Highly organized and deadline-orientated
  • experience of producing regular sales forecast reports and activity updates
  • MS Office products: Excel, Word, PPT
