Lighting Supervisor

This role is for a Lighting Supervisor at ILM London, responsible for leading a team of Lighting TDs to create and direct lighting and shadows for film projects. The role involves managing team deliverables, providing technical support, driving tool development, and ensuring lighting continuity. It requires experience in complex 3D lighting scenes, managing large VFX teams, and proficiency in relevant software and scripting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work closely with show production(s) for show and pipeline set up, milestone & targets
  2. Support the VFX supervisor and CG supervisor in the creative direction of the project
  3. Provide technical support for your team, communicating any software issues to developers
  4. Work with your global counterparts to drive the development of tools, standards and processes
  5. Attend all relevant meetings to promote effective communication throughout the production team
