Lighting Supervisor

This role is for a Lighting Supervisor at ILM London, responsible for leading a team of Lighting TDs to create and direct lighting and shadows that meet the creative vision of a project. The role involves managing team deliverables, providing technical support, driving tool development, and ensuring lighting continuity within sequences. It requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills in 3D lighting, VFX software, and scripting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work closely with show production(s) for show and pipeline set up, milestone & targets
  2. Support the VFX supervisor and CG supervisor in the creative direction of the project
  3. Provide technical support for your team, communicating any software issues to developers
  4. Work with your global counterparts to drive the development of tools, standards and processes
  5. Participate as a supervising team member in determining various design solutions, efficiency improvements and provide artistic feedback on a shot and sequence level to other team members of the production
