Internship role supporting the Human Resources team at Eli Lilly, focusing on core HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, recruitment support, HR metrics tracking, and contributing to HR process improvement, AI, and automation projects.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assisting with core HR operations including recruitment, employer branding, onboarding, offboarding, HR systems, training programs, and personnel file management
  2. Supporting the HR team in end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, from hiring to exit, including documentation and follow-up activities
  3. Coordinating the onboarding of new hires and managing newcomer evaluations and probationary processes in a timely and structured manner
  4. Supporting recruitment processes such as interview coordination, candidate communication, and hiring documentation
  5. Assisting in the preparation, maintenance, and digitalization of employee records and personnel files in line with internal policies and legal requirements

Skills

Required

  • 3rd or 4th year university student in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong planning, priority-setting, and organizational skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Proactive attitude with high learning agility and openness to coaching and feedback
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Resilience and adaptability in the face of change
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs
  • Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail
  • Interest in human resources and people operations
  • Available to work full-time during the summer break and at least 3 days per week during the school term
