This role focuses on maintaining and improving the critical Linux infrastructure that powers Jane Street's production trading systems. Responsibilities include debugging kernel performance, developing management tools, resolving production issues, and implementing deployment automation, configuration management, and monitoring. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Unix internals, Linux systems, and systems programming concepts.
