Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Linux Systems Administrator to support classified government contracts. Responsibilities include Linux server administration, system maintenance, patching, monitoring, problem resolution, configuration management, backup and recovery, and adhering to strict information systems security guidelines. A TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform as a Principal Computer Systems Analyst - Linux in support of classified government contracts.
  2. Maintain operations of multi-user computer systems working with system engineers, PC desktop technicians, networking engineers, project managers, end users, and IT/Cyber management.
  3. Maintain and provide reliability of systems through installation, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
  4. Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases, supporting Computer Security with inputs to documentation, as required.
  5. Maintain security audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
