Litigation & Employment Paralegal

This role supports the legal team in managing litigation, pre-litigation, and employment matters. Responsibilities include organizing files, tracking deadlines, supporting litigation holds, assisting with subpoenas, coordinating with outside counsel, supporting internal investigations, managing DocuSign workflows, and improving legal workflows and systems. The role requires experience as a paralegal supporting litigation, strong organizational skills, and comfort with legal tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Maintain and organize litigation files, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery materials, and other case-related documents.
  2. Track and manage case deadlines, court dates, and key milestones, ensuring timely reminders and follow-ups.
  3. Support litigation hold administration, including issuance, tracking, and documentation of hold notices.
  4. Assist with responses to subpoenas and law enforcement requests, including intake, logging, and coordination.
  5. Coordinate with outside counsel on discovery, filings, and case logistics, primarily for U.S. matters, with additional support across Canada and Europe.

  • Comfortable working with legal tools and systems (e.g., document management systems, eDiscovery tools, matter tracking).
