Samsara is seeking an experienced Localisation Project Manager for a 9-month maternity cover role within their marketing team. The role involves maintaining and delivering the EMEA localisation programme, managing website localisation, vendor relationships, and the localisation budget. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of translations, report on key performance metrics, and drive localisation objectives using data-driven decision making. This is a highly collaborative role working cross-functionally with Go-To-Market teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work collaboratively across the marketing team and with other key internal stakeholders to maintain and deliver our localisation programme across EMEA markets, ensuring continuity while our Localisation Manager is on leave.
  2. Manage website localisation initiatives and vendor management around both digital and traditional localisation.
  3. Manage the localisation budget to drive excellent results and control costs.
  4. Ensure accuracy of translation in all produced materials.
  5. Maintain a solid understanding of other vendors within this space, ensuring our budgets are used effectively.

Skills

Required

  • Prior experience in localisation and/or project management
  • A strong track record of operating localisation programmes in fast-paced environments
  • Thorough understanding of translation and localisation digital platforms
  • Excellent team player who values other views and can earn stakeholder confidence quickly and exert influence
  • Ability to identify, track, and present metrics for success on localisation projects
  • Ability to support multiple projects and manage shifting priorities
  • Strong written and verbal English communication and presentation skills
  • Available to start as soon as possible, from 24 August 2026 ideally, and able to commit to the full 9-month term
