Localization Operations Specialist, 3-6 Month Contract

This role supports the day-to-day execution of localization initiatives across product, marketing, and support content, ensuring efficient project delivery and quality. It involves managing projects, partnering with stakeholders, supporting international launches, triaging feedback, and improving processes. The role requires experience with TMS platforms, strong project management skills, and proficiency in at least one additional language.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage day-to-day localization projects across product, marketing, and support content, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
  2. Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities, timelines, and localization requirements
  3. Support international launches by coordinating localization readiness and surfacing risks early
  4. Triage localization feedback and bugs, working with vendors and internal teams to implement fixes
  5. Contribute to improving processes, documentation, and linguistic assets as we scale

Skills

Required

  • 2–4 years of experience managing localization or content operations projects
  • Experience working with TMS platforms such as Smartling, Phrase, or similar tools
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional working proficiency in at least one additional language beyond English
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a tech, marketplace, or high-growth environment
  • Detail-oriented with a bias toward action and comfort operating in ambiguity
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and propose practical solutions
