Logistics Systems Integration Lead

This role focuses on designing and delivering intralogistics automation solutions, integrating various systems like WMS, WCS, ERP, and MES. It involves solution architecture, technical governance, and product development for automation technologies such as AGV/AMR, conveyors, and AS/RS. What you'd actually do

  1. Design E2E intralogistics solutions: AGV/AMR fleet, conveyors/sorters, palletizing/depalletizing, AS/RS, PTL/Put-to-Light, auto weigh/scan/vision, workstation integration (PLC/robotics)
  2. Architect integrations: WMS/WCS/LOS and ERP/MES orders, tasks, states, events
  3. Define success criteria (throughput, takt, availability, zero safety incidents, conflict rate, etc.)
  4. Use simulation tools (e.g.Plant Simulation) for capacity and bottleneck analysis
  5. Create playbook as technical solution guideline including: business requirements analysis, supplier base plan, architecture, lessons learn, best practices, safety & acceptance criteria, etc.

Skills

Required

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across logistics, IT, OT, engineering, operations, and external vendors to deliver integrated logistics solutions.
  • Analyze logistics processes and system performance to identify integration risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support integration and architecture decisions by organizing requirements, data, risks, and stakeholder inputs into clear decision frameworks.
  • Coordinate logistics system integration activities by breaking work into manageable phases, milestones, and dependencies.

  • Gemba walks and stakeholder interviews across production/logistics/warehouse/planning
  • Identify automation use cases: line-side replenishment, WIP/finished/semi-finished handling, inbound/outbound/cross-dock, wave/merge, dock/yard, in-plant transport
  • Quantify value: throughput/takt, waiting/transport waste, WIP, OTD, space utilization
  • Lead/support solution reviews, identify performance and integration risks
  • Drive commonality and reuse
  • Produce evaluation reports and phased rollout with switch/rollback plans
