Responsibilities
- Perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity.
- Analyzes causes of service implementation policy faults or degradation and recommends improvement plans.
- Implements service implementation policy plan improvements as directed for Data Center business unit(s).
- Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process failed vendor hardware devices.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate information within various inventory management systems.
- Ensure detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
- Help reconcile and report inventory discrepancies.
- Perform destruction of data-bearing devices following all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Microsoft policies.
- Comply with security and data management policies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of Asset/Inventory/Logistics/Supply Chain.
- Currently studying towards a qualification in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- You need to be a Danish National or residency with eligibility to work in Denmark.
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Candidates must be willing and able to travel to all Microsoft Data Center locations across Denmark, including Høje Taastrup, Køge, and Roskilde.
**Background Check Requirements: **
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Applicable certifications (Logistics or Supply Chain or Asset Management).
- Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance.
- Able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in written and oral English communication to support regional and global teams.
- Desire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills.
- Flexibility to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays.\
- Valid Driver's License
