This role is for a Business Development professional focused on the Life Sciences and Healthcare (LSHC) industry within Amazon Web Services (AWS) China. The primary responsibility is to work with greenfield accounts and service team leaders to develop new manufacturing solutions, business models, and partnerships. The role involves monitoring industry trends, identifying customer needs, developing business opportunities, and implementing sales strategies to drive growth in this sector. It is a sales and business development role, not directly involved in building or shipping AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with greenfield accounts, and service team leaders to shape new manufacturing solutions, business models, and partnerships to support the LSHC industry strategy.
  2. Monitor/evaluate industry trends and customer needs to develop business opportunities and identify potential projects.
  3. Develop/implement sales strategies, processes, and best practices across the company.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience

Nice to have

  • quota-carrying technology field sales professional
  • proven track record of success selling complex cloud solutions to large enterprises within Financial Services
