This role involves operating machinery like tractors and trenchers to install and maintain buried service wire, coordinating with various stakeholders, and performing repairs on low-voltage utilities. What you'd actually do

  1. Locates buried facilities near the route of "B" service wire using appropriate equipment. Operate a company vehicle with trailer and machinery.
  2. Locate buried facilities near the route of buried wire using appropriate equipment.
  3. Manual excavation utilizing a shovel.
  4. Provide repairs to low voltage buried utilities or sprinkler systems. Provides temporary repairs to low voltage buried utilities, sprinkler systems, and sewage field lines damaged while performing other duties.
  5. Periodic maintenance and non-complex repairs to equipment used in the performance of other responsibilities.
