What you'd actually do

  1. Continuously develop, validate, and deliver technical data for airplane maintenance and fault isolation, ensuring adherence to Instructions for Continued Airworthiness and FAA/Foreign Regulatory standards.
  2. Analyzes complex engineering designs, supplier specifications, and engine manufacturer design data to identify and formulate maintenance, repair, and tooling support requirements.
  3. Develops configuration-specific procedures and instructions accordingly.
  4. Drives product designs and process improvements to ensure safety, supportability and maintainability.
  5. Develops and implements fault isolation procedures and techniques.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Ability to analyze complex engineering designs
  • Ability to develop technical solutions
  • Ability to evaluate maintenance operations
  • Ability to guide development of procedures and techniques
  • Ability to author and guide changes in airplane maintenance documents

Nice to have

  • 1 or more years’ related work experience
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical data
  • Current or prior Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
  • Experience in Propulsion, Avionics, Electrical, Communication, Navigation, Hydraulics, Mechanical Systems, Landing Gear, and/or Payloads/Interiors
  • Experience with REDARS, CATIA, ENOIVA & PSDS
