What you'd actually do

  1. Install, maintain and repair various types of lock and key systems throughout the company
  2. Maintain records of combinations, locks and keys for accountability
  3. Obtain and process work through the lock and key SimpleK Software Program
  4. Operate a computer to access job information (e.g., specifications to locks, manufactures diagrams, key codes), as required
  5. Coordinate information with customers for necessary items (e.g., locks, keys) to perform repair and rework, as required

Skills

Required

  • 1+ years of experience using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service role
  • Current valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel

Nice to have

  • Associate Locksmith of America Certificate
  • General Services Administration Certificate
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • 3+ years of experience with lock and key services
  • Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Experience in Industrial Security, Facilities Security, Personnel Security, and/or in a cleared environment

What the JD emphasized

  • Active US Top Secret Clearance (or higher), or the ability to obtain a US Top Secret Clearance
