Lead a maintenance team in a fast-paced logistics environment, overseeing daily operations, equipment upkeep, compliance with regulations, financial management, and team development. Focus on driving performance, ensuring safety, and implementing process improvements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring proper upkeep of warehouse equipment (MHE, pneumatic and electrical systems, air compressors, refrigeration systems, general building repairs) and compliance with OSHA, DOT, NFPA, Hazardous Waste, and other regulatory standards.
  2. Drive and execute the business plan for your area, ensuring performance meets facility goals in production, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  3. Forecast staffing needs, monitor workload, and track performance results to ensure operational demands are met.
  4. Manage financial responsibilities including monitoring expenses vs. budget, tracking asset utilization, and preparing or analyzing business reports.
  5. Analyze data, identifying trends, and implementing process improvements.
