Maintenance Operator role at Caterpillar, responsible for daily inspection, troubleshooting, and emergency repair of non-standard automation equipment and production lines. What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for daily inspection, fault diagnosis and emergency repair of non-standard automation equipment and production lines, ensuring stable equipment operation;
  2. Execute regular maintenance, parameter optimization and component replacement of electrical control systems (PLC, frequency converters, servo drives, etc.);
  3. According to the three-shift duty roster, arrive at the post on time to deal with sudden downtime accidents, quickly restore production order and record maintenance logs;
  4. Participate in the installation and debugging of new equipment and the electrical modification of old equipment, and assist the technical department in optimizing circuit design to improve equipment efficiency;
  5. Strictly abide by safety operating procedures, investigate electrical fire hazards, and implement equipment maintenance ledger management requirements.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in non-standard equipment or heavy industry electrical maintenance
  • Familiarity with Siemens, Mitsubishi and other mainstream PLC systems
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematic diagrams
  • Skilled in using testing tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Familiar with troubleshooting common faults
  • Associate's degree or above in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Automation or related fields
  • Possess special operation certificates (low-voltage electrician certificate)
