This role is for a Maintenance Specialist at Johnson & Johnson, focusing on repairing and maintaining production equipment and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, documentation, and training new personnel. Experience with automated equipment, PLCs, and in a regulated industrial setting is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Repairs and provides preventive maintenance to all production equipment and troubleshoots facilities equipment when needed.
  2. Verifies compliance with established Compliance Wire, on-the-job and technical trainings within the maintenance and manufacturing departments.
  3. Responsible of fixing machine problems minimizing downtime.
  4. Read diagrams, sketches, blueprints, operation manuals and manufacturing specifications.
  5. Documentation and execution of the PM’s and Work Orders.

Skills

Required

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics or equivalent
  • Four (4) years of experience in a regulated industrial environment
  • Availability to work overtime, various work schedules
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Good proficiency in reading and understanding electrical/pneumatic schematics
  • Good communication, leadership and interpersonal relationships skills

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience providing technical trainings
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) proficiency
  • Licensed Electrician
  • Strong electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC knowledge and troubleshooting skills

What the JD emphasized
