What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for overseeing equipment maintenance and maintenance personnel within the production unit, continuously improving equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency, and ensuring full compliance with safety procedures and standards.
  2. Creating work plans for staff and contractors; reviewing the maintenance work performed by technicians.
  3. Making purchasing decisions and recommendations regarding equipment and tools; training the workers periodically on various maintenance processes and techniques.
  4. Monitoring the maintenance budget; identifying cost-effective alternatives for current maintenance activities.
  5. Tracking daily inventories, inspecting production units for wear and tear; ensuring replacements are made on time.

  • Diagnose, repair, and restore mechanical and electrical faults on machining equipment, with the capability to independently handle CNC-related issues.
  • Familiar with Fanuc CNC alarm analysis, parameter verification, and troubleshooting of key units such as spindles and servo axes, with strong on-site problem identification capability.
  • Proficient in reading, troubleshooting, debugging, and basic programming of Mitsubishi or Siemens PLCs, with solid understanding of HMI logic, I/O signals, sensors, and actuator interlock verification.
  • Familiar with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus and Profinet, and able to support communication troubleshooting and data acquisition among PLCs, robots, vision systems, and peripheral equipment.
  • College diploma or above
  • 3 years or above relevant work experience

Nice to have

  • Basic robot programming and debugging capability is preferred, including teaching, program modification, and PLC integration for KUKA, Fanuc, Siasun, or similar industrial robots.
  • Strong safety awareness is required, including familiarity with safety circuits, safety relays, interlock logic, and high-risk work controls; capability in root cause analysis and implementation of permanent corrective actions for recurring failures is also expected.
  • Basic digital application capability, familiar with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps; basic Python or C# programming and SQL database application capability is preferred.
