This role oversees maintenance activities for a new advanced manufacturing and drug development center, ensuring equipment availability, reliability, and optimal performance in compliance with cGMP and other standards. The Maintenance Supervisor leads and develops the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, technical expertise, and innovation, while aligning maintenance programs with organizational goals for safety, quality, and efficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Safety - Sets expectations for a positive & proactive safety culture, ensures that all team members are knowledgeable and compliant regarding safety procedures, policies, permits and practices. Initiates and leads accident, near miss reviews and incident notifications. Ensures proper housekeeping procedures are maintained.
  2. Quality – Responsible for team’s compliance and meeting the quality standards as defined by cGMPs, the Global Quality Standards, local procedures
  3. Manage People Effectively – Responsible for managing daily maintenance operations across shifts up to 7 days a week, including attendance, overtime, resource planning, operational issues, performance management, development planning and reporting of results.
  4. Ensuring quality of Maintenance Execution.
  5. Responsible for Team Training and Development and ensuring team is current on training prior to assigning work.

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma
  • Five years of industrial maintenance experience in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice to have

  • Previous supervisory/leadership experience required
  • Manufacturing, industrial maintenance or building maintenance knowledge preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with multiple levels within the organization
