Maintenance Technician role focused on performing and documenting routine maintenance, resolving equipment breakdowns, ensuring GMP and legislative compliance, and supporting production schedules within an Engineering Centre of Excellence at Merck.

What you'd actually do

  1. Performing and documenting maintenance activities to meet maintenance schedules
  2. Ensuring equipment breakdowns are resolved with minimal disruption to the operation, including trouble shooting and resolve non-routine problems
  3. Ensuring all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), corporate and legislative compliance requirements are met
  4. Working closely with customers to organise own daily tasks and support production schedules
  5. Participation in a call-out roster is required to provide 24-hour support to the facility as needed

Skills

Required

  • Experience in a maintenance or engineering environment
  • Hands-on involvement in maintenance activities
  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Engineering Technology
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Word, Outlook)
