This role is for a Maintenance Technician (Level 3 or 4) responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include performing repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, and on machines and equipment, aligning with a Millwright position. The role involves routine preventative maintenance on various plant equipment including CNC machines, boilers, HVAC systems, and more. It requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and support a rotating night shift.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting on all equipment
  2. Perform routine mechanical / electrical / electronic preventative maintenance on plant equipment, including our CNC and automated machines, Boilers, Autoclaves, HVAC systems, General lighting, Air compressors, Hydraulic systems, Overhead Cranes etc.
  3. Job activities align with that of a typical Millwright position
  4. Other duties to support Maintenance Team as assigned
  5. The position will follow a Rotating Night Shift (6pm-6am).

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright (for Level 3)
  • 6 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright (for Level 4)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
  • Ability to support a Night shift

Nice to have

  • Licensed Journeyman or Master tradesman (plumber, pipefitter, millwright, etc.) or Journeyman level Automated Maintenance Technician Program
  • Proficient and knowledgeable in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring and troubleshooting of such systems
  • Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing complex electro-mechanical systems
  • Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing automated motion control systems
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC maintenance
