This role is for a Manager of Access in Qatar for Eli Lilly, a global healthcare leader. The primary responsibility is to gain and maintain formulary access and reimbursement for Lilly's product portfolio within the public sector by working with payer customers, government affairs, and sales teams. The role requires strong market access, business case development, contract negotiation, and local market knowledge.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for gaining and maintaining formulary access and reimbursement for Lilly products in validated accounts, including:
  2. Manage the negotiations for Lilly portfolio with payers by using financial and legal knowledge.
  3. Coordinate and communicate account strategies and tactics with cross-functional Payer teams.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales or Account Management
  • Qatar experience
  • Excellent implementation skills
  • Sound negotiation and decision-making within contracting parameters
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral in local language and in English)
  • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in complex selling situations
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Understanding of principles in health economics
  • Deep knowledge of local political dynamics, and deep knowledge of payer marketplace

  • Market access experience
