What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and manage a team of Account Managers responsible for pre-to-post sale campaign planning, execution and insights in partnership with Client Partners
  2. Hold team members to high standards and accountability by maintaining clear performance standards, enforcing talent accountability, and driving feedback loops to support ongoing development.
  3. Partner with aligned Sales Director(s) to develop and execute sales strategies and packaging to meet revenue targets and drive business growth
  4. Develop, document and rollout new processes and workflows that create efficiencies for day-to-day Account Management responsibilities allowing them to focus on higher value activities
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert with cross-functional teams including Ad Ops, Product, Measurement, Pricing and Packaging, Ads Marketing, etc. on key projects & initiatives that drive value and efficiency for the organization

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in Account Management and/or Sales Planning functions in the digital media industry, with a heightened focus on video and programmatic advertising
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of managing direct reports and leading with confidence and clarity
  • Excellent understanding of Sales Operations and pitch-to-pay systems and workflows
  • Deep knowledge of digital media sales across Deal Types including Direct IO, Programmatic Guaranteed and PMP transaction models
  • Experience with audience-based planning and selling strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Data fluency and analytical curiosity to guide teams on surfacing meaningful insights that drive stronger outcomes for advertisers
  • Familiarity with industry tools and software, including ad servers, DSPs, and CRM systems
  • Deep understanding of Advertising Measurement vendors and solutions
