Manager, Procurement Business Engagement & Commercial Joints Categories is responsible for leading Procurement activities across Joints-related commercial and business engagement categories, driving alignment between business objectives and category strategies. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver value, resilience, and innovation while ensuring compliance and responsible procurement practices.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the development and execution of Procurement category strategies for Joints to build a competitive, reliable, and innovative supply base.
  2. Align category strategies with business priorities, long‑range plans, and enterprise objectives.
  3. Deliver financial targets, including cost savings and working capital improvements, while supporting service, ESG, and innovation goals.
  4. Provide end‑to‑end category leadership across sourcing, supplier management, contracting, and performance management.
  5. Engage and partner with senior business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide external market and industry insights.

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Category Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing commercial or business‑facing spend categories, preferably within MedTech or regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of category strategy development, sourcing, and supplier management.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver against a balanced set of financial, service, and ESG KPIs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross‑functional organization.

  • Supporting Joints or orthopedics‑related categories.
  • Exposure to digital procurement tools and analytics‑driven sourcing.
  • Driving procurement transformation or operating model improvements.
  • Background in fast‑moving consumer goods, MedTech, or healthcare industries.
