This role is a Manager, Business Services, IT with International Markets Engagement within Procurement at Johnson & Johnson (DePuy Synthes). The role involves managing and executing procurement category strategies for Business Services and IT, acting as a procurement engagement partner to International Markets. Responsibilities include developing and executing category strategies, partnering with international market stakeholders, managing supplier relationships, leading sourcing initiatives, analyzing spend and market trends, supporting financial targets, ensuring compliance, and leveraging procurement tools. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least 6 years of experience in procurement or related fields, experience with Business Services and/or IT services categories, knowledge of sourcing processes, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate in a global, matrixed environment. Familiarity with digital, automation, or AI-enabled procurement tools is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. managing and executing procurement category strategies across Business Services and IT, while serving as a key procurement engagement partner to International Markets.
  2. Support the development and execution of category strategies for Business Services and IT in alignment with business priorities and procurement strategy.
  3. Partner with International Market stakeholders to understand demand, align sourcing approaches, and ensure consistent execution of procurement strategies.
  4. Manage supplier relationships within assigned categories, including performance tracking, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  5. Lead or support sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, competitive bidding events, and contract negotiations within defined authority levels.
