What you'd actually do

  1. Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Banking Relationship Managers to consistently meet and exceed AUM and revenue targets
  2. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-first selling
  3. Conduct regular 1:1s, deal reviews, pipeline inspections, and performance coaching
  4. Own team performance against core banking metrics, including product adoption, AUM growth, and upsell conversion
  5. Own weekly forecasting, pipeline health, and performance reporting for your team

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, banking, or related sales roles
  • 2+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing sales or banking teams
  • Active Series 7 and Series 63 (or ability to obtain/reactivate)
  • Strong understanding of business banking products (checking, treasury, cash management, sweep programs, etc.)
  • Proven ability to coach consultative, outbound and inbound sellers to exceed goals
  • Experience owning forecasts, pipelines, and performance management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior finance and executive stakeholders
  • Highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable operating in fast-growth environments

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Familiarity with credit card management, encompassing a deep understanding of limits, rewards, and underwriting
  • Keen awareness of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and market dynamics
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Gong, Salesforce, Outreach, etc.
  • Prior experience scaling a new or evolving team
