This role is for a Manager, Card Executive Communications at Capital One. What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and implement a communications strategy that: 1. helps build your leader’s brand internally, and 2. brings their organization and Card narratives to life.
  2. Be a creative storyteller who curates engaging experiences including leadership gatherings, all-employee meetings, digital/video storytelling and special events.
  3. Serve as a strategic partner to other executive communicators and chiefs of staff to plan and prepare effective, thoughtful, and engaging internal communications that educate, inform, connect with, and inspire leaders and employees.
  4. Lead change management communications in support of the business.
  5. Draft leader talking points and review presentations.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence with a history of cultivating trusting relationships with executive leaders.
  • The ability to distill complex and sometimes voluminous content into clear, concise and engaging communications.
