This role is for a Channel Marketing Manager at Capital One, focusing on evaluating, optimizing, and rebuilding existing offline channels (Direct Mail, Telemarketing, Site Visits) while also leading the expansion into digital channels (Email, Paid, Social). The manager will be responsible for strategic audits, revamping channel strategies, leading a team, designing and executing a greenfield digital strategy, and establishing unified performance metrics and budget stewardship. The role requires experience in multi-channel digital marketing within a regulated industry and people management experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Strategic Audit: Conduct a deep-dive evaluation of our current Direct Mail, Telemarketing, and Site Visit programs to determine ROI, efficiency, and scalability.
  2. Revamp & Redesign: Identify gaps in the current strategy and lead the transformation of these channels—rethinking everything from messaging and targeting to vendor selection and team structure.
  3. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the existing channel team. Evaluate talent needs and, where necessary, restructure and hire to ensure we have the right people in the right seats to meet modern marketing demands.
  4. Greenfield Digital Strategy: Design and execute the roadmap for our entry into Email, Paid Media, and Social channels.
  5. Unified Metrics: Establish a single source of truth for channel performance. You will define the KPIs for what "success" looks like in a modern, multi-channel environment.
