What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and develop a team of in-house claims quality & compliance professionals
  2. Design, test, and continuously improve QA methodologies, scorecards, and root-cause analysis for FNOL quality issues
  3. Build and maintain control matrices, narratives, and evidence repositories; prepare walkthroughs and remediation plans; drive timely control testing and deficiency closure.
  4. Represent Claims in SOX, statutory, and carrier audits; articulate control design and operating effectiveness to Financial Risk management and auditors; developing responses to ad hoc audit requests and inquiries
  5. Provide input on compliance control design and adequacy

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of professional experience in claims or risk operations
  • at least 3 years dedicated to audit, SOX, or regulatory compliance within a P&C or gig-economy claims environment.
  • 3+ years people management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • AIC, SCLA, or CPCU designations
  • Auto insurance claims handling/management experience
