Manager, Commercial Education for Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes team. This role focuses on designing and delivering a strategic, outcomes-focused Commercial Education program to equip sales representatives with the knowledge and skills to sell the value of their orthopaedic portfolio, including competitive positioning, messaging, and objection handling. Responsibilities include curriculum design, training delivery, change management, needs assessment, and stakeholder collaboration. The role requires experience in Joints Reconstruction and strong communication and self-direction skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop a commercial education strategy focused on competitive differentiation and value based selling across Joints platforms and associated technologies.
  2. Design and deliver live workshops, case studies, digital learning, and blended learning modules (pre-work, in-person, virtual, reinforcement) that focus on competitive selling techniques, objection handling, and value articulation.
  3. Conduct regular needs assessments (quantitative and qualitative) to identify specific business needs for commercial education across territories.
  4. Partner with fellow team members, field sales, professional education SMEs, marketing and other stakeholders to gain strategic alignment and select course formats, target audiences, and delivery windows.
  5. Produce regular program reports and dashboards for stakeholders demonstrating program ROI.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field
  • 5 years of Joints Reconstruction experience in marketing, sales, or clinical education
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, ability to self-direct and self-govern
