Stripe is seeking a Manager, Community Operations to lead a team of Operations Associates supporting users through social channels and escalation fastlanes. This role involves recruiting, managing, coaching, and developing the team, driving operational delivery and process improvement, identifying and mitigating risks, and fostering a positive team culture. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience leading operations support teams, a strong operations mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Recruit, manage, coach, and develop a new team of in-office Operations Associates
  2. Drive strong operational delivery and process improvement helping to mitigate risk while balancing operational efficiency and user impact
  3. Identify gaps in current systems, policies and strategies, and recommend enhancements and process improvements to mitigate risks
  4. Build a great culture and ensure team members are happy, effective, and growing in their career
  5. Set clear goals and direction, and provide regular feedback on team members’ performance
