Capital One is seeking a Manager, Compensation Consulting to join their International compensation team. This role is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing compensation programs, policies, and procedures across their international footprint. The ideal candidate will have experience in compensation management, preferably within a regulated industry, and possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include developing pay programs, delivering compensation consulting, managing compensation cycles, contributing to strategic projects, and ensuring compliance with labor and pay equity laws.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with HR and senior business leaders to develop pay programs for our International Business while exhibiting strong communication, influencing, and problem solving skills and ensuring alignment with the HR and business strategy for Capital One internationally
  2. Deliver expert compensation consulting and develop proposals and presentations about compensation programs (including market data and appropriate pay levels/targets) to influence and educate senior level decision-makers
  3. Serve as the primary compensation point of contact for mid-year and year-end compensation cycles for assigned client groups, ensuring smooth execution and managing within internal and external controls
  4. Contribute to strategic compensation projects, key initiatives or processes horizontally across client groups
  5. Collaborate with recruiters to develop competitive offer packages for external hires
