What you'd actually do

  1. Lead deal analysis to support content licensing negotiations from deal pitch/sourcing through renewal
  2. Lead performance analysis of launched titles and deals, including audience deep dives and data analysis, for renewal decisions
  3. Monitor licensed catalog strength over time and provide recommendations on content investment priorities
  4. Provide strategic support on programming, both on an individual title basis and across the entire licensed content slate
  5. Develop deep understanding of industry trends, competitor slates, and whitespace programming opportunities

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in entertainment / investment banking / management consulting / media-focused technology role
  • Experience conducting quantitative analysis (including modeling) and qualitative analysis
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently
  • Highly intellectually curious
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Excel / PowerPoint

Nice to have

  • MBA preferred
  • Passion for film and series; deep expertise of current and library film and television content within the marketplace
  • Experience in content acquisition / licensing deal analysis highly preferred
