Netflix is seeking a Manager, Crisis Management and Enterprise Resilience to create and lead a modern, business-aligned enterprise crisis management and resilience discipline. This role will design and architect strategies, and execute operationally to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptive events. Responsibilities include developing frameworks, playbooks, training, and integrating continuity and recovery concepts into the crisis management lifecycle. The role requires deep understanding of risk, continuity, incident management, and crisis leadership, with proven experience in complex environments and coordinating real incidents.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design, maintain, and refine an Enterprise Crisis & Resilience Framework and program.
  2. Lead and facilitate a crisis & resilience steering team with key cross‑functional (XFN) stakeholders, and ensure complimentary programming and efforts across enterprise teams.
  3. If needed, serve as Crisis Coordinator during enterprise‑level events, running crisis calls and driving clarity on decisions, owners, and impacts.
  4. Design and lead an exercise program—from drills to leadership tabletop simulations—to validate plans, stress‑test roles and responsibilities, and strengthen XFN coordination.
  5. Conduct discovery of existing BC and resilience activities and establish a baseline understanding of critical business functions and current continuity practices.

  • Experience building and operationalizing playbooks, toolkits, exercises, and training that are adopted and used at scale
  • Ability to work effectively with XFN partners to connect risk views, continuity needs, and incident/threat data into concrete priorities and actions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled at analyzing incident and threat information, spotting emerging patterns, and helping shape practical mitigation and preparedness strategies
  • Familiar with global frameworks and standards; able to adapt and apply principles without unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Proficiency with crisis and incident management tools (e.g., Everbridge, Dataminr, Ontic, Google Workspace)
  • Proven ability to thrive in resource-constrained, high-autonomy environments and deliver results
  • 10+ years of experience across some combination of crisis/incident management, global resilience, business continuity, risk management, or related fields
